BC: Moore money, Moore legroom

Part 9 in a 11-part blog series looking at questionable expenses of several government employees, as revealed by CTF Freedom of Information requests.

In August 2011, Metro Vancouver sent Port Coquitlam Mayor Greg Moore and corporate relations staffer David Hocking to Melbourne, Australia, for a Zero Waste conference.

Hocking’s airfare cost taxpayers $6,960.35, while Moore’s cost $7,901.80. Moore was also paid $3,960 for four days of meetings.
